May 2025 Devlog: Please, Its been 2000 years..

WHATS UP YALL BACK WITH ANOTHER MISADVENTURES DEVLOG!! Uhh, One thing i wanna say, If you ever think this game is dead, It probably is cause of stuff irl i'm doing. Anyways, let's do a lightning round!!

BATTLE DEMO 2 PROGRESS!!

I'm mainly still stuck on this downgrading part. Not cause i can't do it or anything, it's just schoolwork and such and i have to focus on that stuff. So it's gonna take a while until i get to it. BUT ONE DAY WHEN I'M FINISHED WITH ALL THAT I WILL WORK ON IT!! PROMISE!! then everybody will be happy!! hooray!!!!111

Im still gonna work on this AFTER battle demo 2, so nothing's really there yet..

CHAPTER 1

Chapter 1 is partly finished.

...Yes, im serious. AREN'T YOU EXCITED!!!!!! wow i can't wait to play misadventures chapter 1!!

DLC

Misadventures will have DLC! (Some with prices!) Don't worry if your one of my friends or something, you will get it for free! Anyways, Here are the stuff!

Loadable into the game DLC:

DLC CHAPTER (5 usd) unlock a whole new chapter where the gang goes to hell! Disaster ensues. Unlocks aaron as a playable character! (Not related to the story, But it's still cool!)

Endgame +  (2 usd) An option to make the tower endless, and adds more skills and perks. Also adds modifiers to the game! Also adds some new sidequests.

3D DLC (free) UNLOCK THE 3RD DIMENSION. Battles become 3D. Might be buggy. 

May require a new save file:

KAIZO DLC (free) Wanna break things? Say no more.

 Unnamed Jada DLC (free) Expands the chapter 4 area with a new sidequest! Its not big enough to be a new chapter, though

SAVE DATA

this is another main problem, how the heck are you gonna save??? HOW DO I CODE THAT!!??!? Well, i've made some progress, but before chapter 1 gets released, this needs to be done. Sorry guys, More waiting!!

WTF ARE CHAPTERS??

The game is split into 4 chapters. 5 Counting DLC as of now. There is also the prologue, but its short, so it doesn't count. Each chapter follows a theme and IOS (individual optimized stickfigure)!

Chapter 1 - Space, Preferably the moon. MAIN BOSS: IOS Eddie

Chapter 2 - The desert! With a volcano about to erupt. Uh oh. MAIN BOSS: IOS Alexis

Chapter 3 -  An underwater town! Luckily, Some certain character gives us the ability to go there.. MAIN BOSS: IOS Frankie

Distorted Lost Chapter - Go underground! Then go more underground! Then end up in hell. Then remove the balance of life and death. MAIN BOSS: Mox

Chapter 4 - Lets go to the city! Wow, so vaporwave! Oh yeah, and also travel the multiverse! And almost destroy it! Whoops! MAIN BOSS: IOS Jada

Every chapter has a new super that gives you a new a super as like, an advance like in M&L! Here's me for an example! (also note that i have the longest to get super in the game)

Prologue/Starting super: A strong guitar attack that hits a enemy. 

Chapter 1 Finish: The super now hits all enemies.

Chapter 2 Finish: The super is now a transformation. This gives frankie a lance, increases his defend range, crit range, and buffs EVERY skill he has for 4 turns! (Length may be changed)

Chapter 3 Finish:  The super now gives other party members a slightly nerfed version of the effect!

Chapter 4 Finish: The effect is longer by 2 turns, and revives all party members on use.

Only the characters Alexis and Aaron can absorb the power of the DLC chapter and reach a 5th super. For every other character, it just increases their super damage.

Also, every chapter has a fly the rocket track on soundcloud! And at least one reference in it! (one of the 4 original chapters may have much more than others)

SPANISH SUPPORT

Spanish support is done via google translate. All i need to do is update the dialogue system. English and Spanish are the ONLY languages in misadventures. Perhaps in the future, there will be more?

ITCH.IO TRAILER

Misadventures is getting a actual decent trailer! I just need to finish every character so i can SHOW every character..

Im working on battle for talking jada 2 (BFTJ2) It's a cool series on my youtube. Episode 2 is coming soon!

I'm also working on the paladins: codebreaker along with a friend. It should come out on itch.io sometime. Some OSTS are on my soundcloud!
